Childcare and Preschool Staff Professional Development
Here to help add quality to your program
I am registered with NYS Aspire Registry and OCFS as a professional trainer for your preschool or childcare staff. I specialize in child development training and child management.
1-on-1 Tutoring
The path to success
I specialize in teaching reading to children. I have been trained in Wilson's Fundations which is a specialized reading program for those with special needs but also for typically developing children. My reading program has been incredibly successful for children on the spectrum, with ADHD, or those with dyslexia.
Providing Inspiration
Sharing ideas and motivation to teach our students
Through my blog and many social media pages and boards, educators can find the inspiration they need to help teach a concept or implement an idea or corresponding art or literature piece.

About Me
Welcome to FUNdamentals of education! I created this website to inspire fellow educators. I have been a teacher for twenty years (fifteen of those years as a home school mother). I have taught all the grades at least once, most five times. I have six beautiful children, my youngest is six and my oldest is twenty-three. I am currently the director of a free preschool, and director of youth development in a community center. This is the second free preschool that I have started. The first preschool was set in a library and is an award winning preschool with national recognition. My passion is to provide quality education for all children and to help others do so as well. I love to teach children and I love to teach adults who are caring for and educating children.
